I’m writing to brothers and sisters in Christ who are going through a tough time, a challenge, or experiencing guilt and condemnation.

I’m writing to brothers and sisters in Christ who are going through a tough time, a challenge, or experiencing guilt and condemnation.

There’s no condemnation for you! (Romans 8:1). Let’s be driven by love and not by fear or guilt. God is love. :) Guilt is not from God. We feed on Jesus and His love, knowing DaddyGod first love us and so we can love others. We love because He first loved us. :)

If you find it challenging to love others, then feed yourself on DaddyGod’s love for you first. Feed on Jesus, fellowship with your heavenly Father who loves you so much that He gave His only, precious son, to die on the cross for you so that you can lead your life today free from condemnation, guilt and bondages, and have eternal life.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. - Galatians 5:1

If you are having a challenge, in Christ we have hope, hope in God’s unfailing love and hope in the cross that Jesus said “It is finished!” Finished in our self-effort, finished in our works, finished in our striving to achieve, all we have to do now is to RECEIVE. I know it can be hard at times while waiting for our breakthroughs, I’ve been there but keep believing in Jesus. From my experience, where else is there better to place our hope other than Jesus Christ? Our saviour is born in this world to die, to save us. Only Jesus suffice. The harder my circumstances, the harder I press on The Word and the promises of God.

All of God’s good promises in The Word are “Yes” and “Amen” for us! So claim what is yours! Don’t mix up the works of the Devil with God’s. God only gives His children good things.

“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! - Matthew 7:11 (NIV)

And Jesus has made it clear here:

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. - John 10:10 (NKJV)

Be of good cheer for Jesus has overcome the world!

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. - John 13:33 (NKJV)

Remember:

yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us! - Romans 8:37

Jesus not only died for us but also rose from the dead, conquered death for us! Praise Jesus! And, the spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you!

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. - Romans 8:11 (NKJV)

Brothers and sisters, I’m praying for you. Meanwhile, enjoy your life with Jesus, your fellowship with Jesus that He died so that He can have this relationship with you, so you can be a son or daughter of God where we can call Him Daddy! Abba!

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” - Romans 8:15 (NKJV)

Jesus is always, always, always with you even if you don’t feel so. Let’s have faith in the word instead of our emotions.

… For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” - Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)

I hope this encourages you my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. If you are in any way or any bit encouraged, know that it is because Jesus loves you that is why I’m writing this to you. I will sign off by leaving these verses with you:

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:32-39 (NKJV)

Jesus loves you,

In the beginning God

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

- Genesis 1:1

The first chapter of the bible, the first verse and the first part of the verse is “In the beginning God”. I believe there is a fundamental reason why this is so.

Is God in your beginnings and your everything? Let me elaborate with some examples. Is God in the beginning of your day? Is God first when you go to work or school? Is God first in your relationships? Is God first when you are going to counsel a friend? Is God first when you are in trouble? Is God first when you need help? Is God first in your thanksgiving? Is Jesus first in your heart?

Don’t get me wrong, this is not an appraisal performance of a judgement test. No, it’s not. In fact, a lot of times, I, myself didn’t think of God first. But today, by His grace, from now on, I hope to be more aware and active in placing God first. Everyday is a new day, so if you have not been putting God first, don’t feel bad. You can start today. I believe there is tremendous hope in putting God first. I believe if we put God first, He will take care of the rest (of our affairs).

If you think about God first, what do you think about? The bible said God is love (1 John 4:8). I know Jesus is full of grace. It is even by His grace that we are saved, through faith which the faith is even given by God.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

- Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)

It is not of my works, not any of it. So, if it’s by His grace that we are saved, and the faith is a gift of God, and my works did not help at all, today, what do you look at most of your time? His grace, our faith or our works? For it is by grace that saved me, I believe it will be by grace that will sustain me.

God is love, full of grace. Jesus being a sacrifice for us so that we can reconcile and have a relationship with God, to be His children - to me, this is grace. Grace empowered by love.

I believe that by putting Jesus first, and actively receiving His abundance of grace and the gift of righteous, we will reign in life.

For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

- Romans 5:17

So, what do you think of first in your journey? :) When you think about God, what do you think about?

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

- John 3:16
